Burundi is a small country in East Africa, surrounded by Rwanda, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Much of the south-western border is adjacent to Lake Tanganyika, one of the deepest lakes in the world and home to many unique cichlid fish. The earliest known people to live in Burundi were the Twa, pygmy people.  Coffee growing is major part of the Burundi economy. A hybrid specis of cichlid swimming in public aquarium.
