Guinea-Bissau is in West Africa. It has an Atlantic coastline and borders with Senegal and Guinea. The climate is generally warm and wet with little fluctuation in temperature but there is a very pronounced dry season. The Biajagos Archipelago is a group of 88 islands remaining from an ancient river delta. The people from Guinea-Bissau are known as Bissau-Guineans and not Guinea-Bissauans. Their most popular music is called Gumbe and is derived from a folk singing tradition.
