Tuvalu is a Polynesian island nation found in the Pacific ocean half way between Hawaii and Australia. It is the 4th smallest country in the world with only 10 square miles (26 sq. km). It also has the 3rd smallest population in the world. Tuvalu consists of three reef islands and six atolls. The economy is sustained by several different factors: an international trust fund, agriculture, and training men to be seafarers. The traditional fatele dance is used to celebrate leaders and other important guests.
